In case you missed it, Harry Potter alum Bonnie Wright recently collaborated with Prince William of Wales, and it’s all thanks to her son Elio Ocean.
Per People, Wright started working with William’s Earthshot Prize to make a new, inspiring competition to help “tackle global challenges.”
The new competition Wright made with the Earthshot Prize is also a collab with the British children’s show Blue Peter.
It was made to help children “believe that the ideas that they have are important,” she said. “It empowers young people to not feel like they’re being left behind. We’re leaning into young people’s imaginations and voices and ideas. And also bringing to the forefront something that I think is incredibly important.”
Per People, children, ages 5-15 years old, are invited to submit their original ideas to the Earthshot Prize. But it has to tackle one of the five challenges: Fix Our Climate, Protect and Restore Nature, Clean Our Air, Revive Our Oceans, and Build a Waste-Free World.
